We are J. Ruble and Sons Truck Sales - a used truck dealer based in Monroeville, Indiana that is family owned and has been serving niche markets for nearly 35 years. We specialize in finding big power trucks and tractors and, if necessary, offer the unique ability to customize that truck to your needs. We started off building grain trucks for our own farming needs and that expanded into dump trucks followed by long wheelbase trucks and wreckers and oil trucks and other specialty trucks. Our frame shop is one of the best in the country and it is the reason that most of the work done in the frame shop is for repeat customers. Frame Stretching & Shortening— We can stretch or we can shorten to your wheelbase or CT. We can do double frame and triple frame installations and can easily add 10 inches or 100 inches.
Suspension Modifications— We also can convert trucks to different and/or heavier suspensions such as Chalmers, Hendrickson, Reyco, T-Ride or various types of air ride. In many cases, it is cheaper to build a truck up than buy a factory heavy spec truck. We check everything out and rebuild anything that is worn- hangers, bushings, springs, new brakes and drums, etc.
Body Installation— We can install almost any type of body that you want. Dump beds and flat beds are just the beginning.
Sleeper Removal— We can remove almost any sleeper and turn the truck into a daycab. We have over 20 years of experience perfecting our sleeper techniques.
Wet Kit Installation— Single line, double line, pump speed, tank size, controls —it's all customizable.
Fuel Tank Modifications— We can move them, shorten them or remove them.
Transmission Changes— We can install bigger transmissions and we can convert auto shifts to typical manual transmissions.
Engine Brake Installations— We can add Jake Brakes, PacBrakes, Tec Brakes, etc. to almost any truck.
Exhaust Work — We can install
dual exhaust or move the exhaust to
nearly any spot you want.
Paint Work— Our cleanup shop is fast and offers very reasonable pricing on paint jobs.
