WrestleMania 41 Day 2 Results, Highlights And Reactions (2025)

John Cena is now a 17-time champion.

The G.O.A.T. got the win over Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 41, thanks to some help from Travis Scott. Along the way, we saw Cena reinvent his move set to showcase his pure heel flow.

The main event wasn’t a fast-paced masterpiece, but it was the epitome of an if-you-know-you-know classic. Will that be enough for most fans?

Who knows? We’re talking about the same fanbase that booed Bianca Belair, suddenly cheered Dominik Mysterio, and turned on Rhodes.

The vocal majority proved Cena’s brilliant promos right. Here is a look at every match on Night 2.

Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch def. (c) Liv Morgan and (c) Raquel Rodriguez - NEW CHAMPIONS

Here is a look at the finish.

Quick Summary

This match wasn’t great. It was carried by Lynch’s return. Lynch looked very slow and choppy and there was a lack of chemistry overall. It was also wildly predictable the moment Lynch made her way to the ring. At this point, this one has the dubious distinction of being the worst match of Night 2 and maybe all of WrestleMania 41.

Logan Paul def. AJ Styles

Here’s a look at the finish.

Quick Summary

There will be a good amount of debate with this one. Paul goes over against Styles at WrestleMania 41. Karrion Kross came out to play a role, which I thought was cool–and the match had several cool spots. However, Styles looked a less than engaged and the ending was questionable.

Randy Orton def. Joe Hendry

Here’s a look at the finish.

Quick Summary

Orton had to win, we know, but did it have to be so lopsided? I don’t know. It seems like maybe Hendry could have been given a little more of an opportunity to perform. As it is, the post-match antics were entertaining.

Dominik Mysterio def. Bron Breakker, Dominik Mysterio, Penta and Finn Balor - NEW CHAMPION

Here is a look at the finish.

Quick Summary

Dominik Mysterio pulled off the huge win in a great match.

Breakker starred throughout the match, but WWE went with the hot hand. Fans have flipped to Dom’s side in a major way, and the new WWE is more about giving the fans what they want when they make their desires abundantly clear. I’m not sure Breakker should have dropped the title here, but the match was great.

Drew McIntyre def. Damian Priest in a Sin City Street Fight

Here is a look at the finish:

Quick Summary

I was wrong about this match. I didn’t think it had the build to be a success. WWE is 2-for-2 on Sunday. This was arguably the best and most brutal Street Fight match I’ve ever seen. It was great to see McIntyre go over after getting the short end of the stick so often in his most recent feuds.

That finish was nasty, but take a look at some of the other major moments.

(c) Iyo Sky def. Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair - WWE Women’s World Championship

Here’s a look at the finish:

Quick Summary

This match was about as good as a Triple Threat can be. The moment I saw this one forming, I knew that it had the potential to be an amazing match, and that’s exactly what we got.

Here are some of the other memorable moments.
